New Video Store Opens in The Shoppes at the Legacy in Norwalk
NORWALK, Iowa (March 3, 2005) Flixx, Norwalk’s newest video rental store, has recently opened at Hubbell Realty Company’s The Shoppes at The Legacy in Norwalk, located on Highway 28. The 1,200 square foot store features over 3,000 movie titles ranging from new releases to the classics. Mike Forget, owner of Flixx and Norwalk resident, chose The Shoppes at The Legacy for its prime location. “If there is anywhere to go in Norwalk, this is the place to be,” states Forget. “This location has the new look of Norwalk; a big city style with a small town atmosphere. Plus, it allows me to serve both Norwalk and the Lakewood subdivision, keeping business in Norwalk.” Open since the first week of February, business is booming for Flixx. “We do about 250 rentals a day so far,” says Forget. In addition to movies, Flixx also offers a wide range in video gaming titles for PS2, Game Cube and X Box. “Flixx is another great addition to the Shoppes at The Legacy,” states Steve Niebuhr, Senior Vice President of Hubbell Realty Company. “The businesses located at the Shoppes, such as Two Ducks Coffee, Community State Bank and China Dragon, all add to the quality of life available to the residents of Norwalk.” The Norwalk Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, March 9 at 11:30 a.m..
