HUBBELL REALTY COMPANY & PERSIMMON CAPITAL PARTNERS BREAK GROUND ON THE WINHALL OF WILLIAMS POINTE

West Des Moines, IA (May 16, 2012) – Hubbell Realty Company and Persimmon Capital Partners broke ground today, Wednesday, May 16, on The Winhall of Williams Pointe, a new luxury apartment community located at 1205 University Avenue in Waukee, Iowa. 

Waukee Mayor William Peard, Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce President Sara Larson, Interim Waukee City Administrator Brad Deets, and Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce members helped Persimmon Capital Partners Vice President Michael Snyder and Hubbell Realty Company executives, including President and CEO Rick Tollakson, Senior Vice President Steve Niebuhr, Development Vice President Kris Saddoris, celebrate the ceremonial dirt turning.

 

The projected $18.76 million development will consist of 206 one, two and three bedroom apartments, making it one of the largest multi-family projects under construction in the Greater Des Moines area. The Winhall of Williams Pointe features contemporary interiors, soaring ceilings, his and her bathroom sinks, fireplaces, attached garages, and storage units. Community amenities include a swimming pool and clubhouse with community room, theater room, business center, internet café, and 24-hour fitness center.

“Hubbell Realty Company and our equity partner, Persimmon Capital Partners, are excited to break ground on a new apartment project in the City of Waukee,” stated Steve Niebuhr. “With easy access to the future Alice’s Road interchange, this product will attract those looking for an upscale apartment outside of the city yet convenient to anywhere in the Des Moines metro.”

The Winhall of Williams Pointe is being built by Hubbell Construction Services, and apartments will be available beginning in late 2012.
