Non-Profit Organization Will Receive Proceeds from Lawnmower Raffle
West Des Moines, IA (June 6, 2012)– A John Deere lawnmower will be raffled off during the Hubbell Living All American Home Show. Raffle tickets are one dollar each and all funds collected will be donated to the Iowa National Guard Officers Auxiliary, a non-profit organization that works toward continued and improved benefits for active and retired personnel in the Iowa National Guard and their families.
“This means so much to our organization”, said Officers Auxiliary President, Lori Meyer. "We provide support to several programs, such as the Iowa State University Extension and 4-H to help fund summer camp for Iowa National Guard kids, scholarships for Iowa National Guard dependents, an annual retreat for our Iowa Gold Star families and Paws and Effect , which places a service dog with an Iowa National Guard soldier. This is just a small list of the ways in which we honor Iowa's heroes and none of this is possible without donations from people in our communities. We’re grateful for the generosity of Hubbell Realty and we’re looking forward to the show.”
The All American Home Show is June 8-10 and June 15-17, at Crosshaven, a Hubbell Conservation Community on NW 100th Street in Johnston. Guests can purchase raffle tickets for the lawnmower during show hours. A winner will be drawn on Monday, June 18. Visit for show hours, directions and event information.
