West Des Moines, IA (November 19, 2013) – Hubbell Realty Company broke ground this afternoon on the second phase of Cedarbrooke Place, an affordable, multi-family community located at 2503 Cedar Street in Norwalk, Iowa.

Norwalk Mayor, Doug Pierce; incoming Norwalk Mayor, Tom Phillips; Norwalk Community Development Director, Josh Heggen; Norwalk City Manager, Marketa Oliver; Bankers Trust Vice President and Manager Commercial Real Estate, Jennifer Cooper; and Bankers Trust Assistant Vice President Commercial Real Estate, Becky Fluegge helped Hubbell Realty Company executives, including President and CEO, Rick Tollakson; Senior Vice President, Steve Niebuhr; and Development Vice President, Kris Saddoris, celebrate with the ceremonial turning of the dirt.

The projected $7.5 million expansion will add two buildings comprised of a total of 60 one, two and three bedroom apartment homes to the community. The first phase of Cedarbrooke Place, including 60 apartment homes and the community clubhouse, was completed in winter 2012. The second phase will be completed in fall 2014. Cedarbrooke Place features in-unit washers/dryers, wood laminate flooring, island kitchens, splash pad, business center, fitness center and picnic/grilling areas.
