West Des Moines, IA (October 21, 2011) – Hubbell Construction Services broke ground Thursday, October 20th for Meadowlark Place, a new apartment community located at 1000 SE 11th Street in Grimes, Iowa. Grimes Mayor Tom Armstrong, Grimes Chamber & Economic Development President Steve Rogers and Vice President Clint Dudley, and Grimes City Administrator Kelley Brown helped turn the ceremonial dirt to mark the occasion.

The projected $9.5 million investment will consist of 120 one, two and three bedroom apartments. Meadowlark Place boasts state-of-the-art amenities including clubhouse, fitness center, business center, media room, splash pad and detached garages.

Meadowlark Place will be completed in summer 2012. Rents start at $700 for one bedroom, $800 for two bedrooms and $985 for three bedrooms.
