Each year, Midwest Real Estate News inducts a new class in its Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. Last year — despite the challenges it brought — was no exception. Here’s a look at one of our newest Hall of Fame members, Timothy Sharpe, senior vice president with the West Des Moines, Iowa, office of CBRE.

Tim Sharpe is recognized by his peers as one of the top investment property specialists in Iowa. This isn’t surprising: This industry vet brings more than 38 years of commercial real estate experience to every deal. He’s also committed to providing his clients with the best possible service and understands his market completely. That’s a winning combination.

During the last 19 years, Sharpe’s sole focus has been the acquisition and disposition of all types of investment properties including retail, office, industrial and multifamily. Sharpe and partner Linda Gibbs have managed the Capital Markets/Investment Properties platform at CBRE for the state of Iowa from its inception in 2002. Since that time, Sharpe has been involved in disposition and debt equity investment property transactions exceeding $1.5 billion.
