Jim Weber, a Hubbell Realty Co. senior vice president, has announced his retirement after a 42-year career in the accounting and real estate development industry. Weber, who spent 30 years as a chief financial officer in the Greater Des Moines area, has provided strategic leadership, financial oversight and account management with Hubbell Realty since 2005.
He is a published author and a philanthropic groundbreaker for the Des Moines Taxpayers Association, Bishop Drumm Foundation, Dowling Catholic Foundation, Balance Autism, and the UNI Real Estate Advisory Board. Weber received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University and his law degree from Drake University Law School. He was named the 2015 Deloitte CFO of the Year by the Des Moines Business Record.
