Preparing to Build
Every custom home starts with a strong foundation long before construction begins. We start with a Dream Home Consultation to understand how you live, what you value, and what you want your home to become. From there, we develop a formal estimate and help prepare your land for construction, including site evaluation and early planning considerations.
This is also where your home takes shape on paper. You can design a fully custom home from scratch, modify an existing plan, or bring us your own blueprint. Our team works closely with you to refine, adapt, and optimize your plans, incorporating your must-haves, preferences, and long-term vision into a home designed for real life, not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Selections + Design
With your plans in place, it’s time to make it official. On Sign + Design Day, you’ll sign your purchase agreement and begin designing your home one-on-one with our lead designer and project manager, Karli. Together, you’ll confirm your budget, review layouts, and make thoughtful selections that define your home’s look, feel, and functionality.
Because transparency matters, this step ensures you understand your choices, costs, and timeline before construction begins. After design decisions are finalized, you’ll close on your loan and prepare for Dig Day, the exciting moment when your custom home moves from planning to reality.
Construction + Closing
Now your vision becomes a home. Our experienced team manages each stage of construction with care, providing regular updates and clear communication as your home comes together. Whether your home is in a growing neighborhood or on a rural property, you’ll know what’s happening and what’s next.
Before closing, we walk you through homeowner maintenance, warranty details, and everything you need to feel prepared and confident in your new home. Then it’s time to celebrate Closing Day. Welcome home!
