Edencrest at The Legacy is a 40-home senior living community in Norwalk, Iowa, and marked the fifth Edencrest community to open in the Des Moines metro. Officially opened in 2018, the community expanded senior housing options in Norwalk with a full spectrum of retirement living, including independent living, assisted living, closer-care, and memory care. As part of the Edencrest portfolio, the community was designed to provide older adults and their families with a comfortable, service-focused living environment close to home.

Edencrest at The Legacy demonstrated Hubbell’s ability to develop specialized housing that responds to community needs and supports residents through multiple stages of aging. The community includes shared spaces, a library, beauty and barber salon, game room, fitness room, state-of-the-art security systems, around-the-clock staffing, made-to-order meals, and life enrichment activities. With strong cooperation from the City of Norwalk, Edencrest at The Legacy brought another high-quality senior living option to a growing Central Iowa community while reinforcing Hubbell’s continued investment in housing solutions for every stage of life.
