Edencrest at Siena Hills is a 66-unit senior living community in Ankeny, Iowa, developed to support the needs of a growing suburban community. Located at 455 SW Ankeny Road, Edencrest at Siena Hills was the third Edencrest community to open in the Des Moines metro area and offered a full spectrum of senior living options, including independent living, assisted living, closer-care, and memory care. The community was designed with comfortable apartment homes, shared gathering spaces, and supportive services that helped older adults remain close to family, familiar neighborhoods, and the broader Ankeny community.
Growing with Ankeny
Hubbell developed and built Edencrest at Siena Hills, with a second phase adding a third wing to the building in 2021. Supported by private equity and bank debt, the $12.8 million community included amenities such as a library, beauty and barber salon, game room, fitness room, state-of-the-art security systems, around-the-clock staffing, made-to-order meals, and life enrichment activities. Through phased expansion, specialized housing, and resident-focused amenities, Edencrest at Siena Hills demonstrated Hubbell’s ability to deliver senior living communities that grow alongside Central Iowa’s most active suburban markets.
