LINC at Gray’s Station is a multi-phase apartment and rental townhome community in downtown Des Moines and the first major residential component of the 75-acre Gray’s Station neighborhood. Located at the prominent corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and SW 11th Street, LINC helped establish the identity and momentum of Gray’s Station with an urban design, strong street presence, and walkable access to downtown employment centers, Gray’s Lake Park, trails, restaurants, and surrounding neighborhood amenities. Across four total phases, LINC has delivered a mix of apartment homes, rental townhomes, first-in-class amenities, downtown views, and ground-floor commercial space with tenants including a restaurant, chiropractor office, and nail salon.
Building Momentum at Gray's Station
Hubbell developed LINC at Gray’s Station as a long-term, phased investment in downtown Des Moines, creating a residential anchor for one of the city’s most transformational urban neighborhoods. Since construction began in 2018, each phase has expanded the community’s housing options and strengthened the connection between Gray’s Lake, downtown Des Moines, and the broader Gray’s Station master plan. With Phase 4 currently underway, adding 135 Class A multifamily units, LINC continues to build on the neighborhood’s momentum as nearby economic development advances, including the proposed $95 million multiuse outdoor stadium and global plaza.
