Hubbell Realty Company has completed construction of Sagebrook, an 264‑home apartment and townhome community in La Vista, Nebraska, marking a major milestone in the company’s continued expansion in the Omaha metro. Since opening to residents, more than 100 apartments and townhomes are already leased, or 84% of delivered units, highlighting strong demand for high-quality rental housing in the growing community.
Located on 17 acres, Sagebrook features a mix of 180 apartment homes and 84 rental townhomes, offering residents a modern living experience paired with thoughtfully designed amenities. The community includes a clubhouse, fitness center, resort-style pool, garages, and a dog park, all supporting convenience and connection.
“Sagebrook represents the evolution of our work in the Omaha market from entry and expansion to delivering communities that people are excited to call home,” said Kyle Gamble, President and CEO of Hubbell Realty Company. “Seeing more than 100 homes leased so quickly after completion reinforces the strength of this location and the demand for well-designed rental housing.”
Building on a growing presence in the Omaha metro
The completion of Sagebrook builds on Hubbell’s strategic growth in the Omaha area, which began in 2019 with the acquisition of The Home Company, Omaha’s second largest homebuilder; The Land Company and Premier Land Title Company. Since that time, Hubbell has steadily integrated its development, construction, and real estate expertise into the region announcing two more multifamily projects with The Rye at Harrison and The Riva at Chalco, a resounding wave of industrial success at Infinity Industrial Park in Sarpy County and general contracting anchors with New Horizons Daycares.
“That strategic acquisition laid the groundwork for Hubbell and our divisions to be successful in this market,” Gamble said. “Over the past several years, we’ve integrated those teams and capabilities into our organization, allowing us to bring the same development and construction services we’re known for in Central Iowa into Omaha with the trades dedicated to this region.”
A natural progression for long-term growth
Local leaders have noted Sagebrook’s positive impact on the community, calling it a valuable addition that helps diversify housing options in La Vista. While the Omaha metro is larger than Hubbell’s home market of Central Iowa, marking a milestone of 1 million population earlier this year, the underlying fundamentals are familiar.
“The demographics, growth, strength of the economy, and employer base in Omaha are very attractive to us,” said Matt Weller, Vice President of Development for Hubbell. “Completing Sagebrook and seeing the early leasing success is a major milestone and a natural progression for our company.”
With Sagebrook now complete and welcoming residents, Hubbell continues to evaluate future opportunities in the Omaha metro as part of its long-term growth strategy.
